Recently worked on a film that travelled all over Midwest including parts of Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan. This photo, taken by Kristyna Wentz-Graff, was printed in the September 10, 2010 edition of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. We were filming a scene with Bob Ciccini (Godfather 3, War of the Worlds) and Mary Macdonald Kerr, a well known theater actor from the Milwaukee Rep. The movie is about a father and son who embark on a canoe trip along the Wisconsin River, Fox River, and Mississippi River by St. Louis which follows the same journey taken by Joliet and Marquette when they first discovered the river. They started in the Upper Peninsula by St. Iganaceus and were eventually forced to turn around after running into the Spanish near St. Louis. The movie is based on a true story as told by author, Steve Faulkner. Principal photography is not yet done. We just finished 4 weeks of production and will review the work created so far and continue as planned. It's been a great 4 weeks and I already miss the crew now that I've settled back home in Oak Park, IL.
